About

My name is Jeremy Johnson, I am a photographer from Naperville, Illinois. I am currently a Senior studying photojournalism at the University of Missouri and working as a Staff Reporter at the Columbia Missourian. Prior to pursuing my college education, I graduated from Naperville Central High School. During my time there I fell in love with fine arts and more specifically, photography. After taking two classes based on traditional photography I was asked to partake in an AP Art class. This class consumed my entire senior year, leaving me in a constant search for abandonment, my concentration for the AP test. My 12 photo portfolio received a 5, the highest score by the AP board. In addition to that, I also received a gold key and two silver keys in the scholastics art competition. After realizing my potential I began considering a career path that allowed for me to live behind the lens.  I am currently enrolled in photojournalism classes at the University of Missouri and I am excited to continue my work.
